Every year, the Illuminights Winter Walk of Lights dazzles visitors with a spectacular holiday light display, and this year is no different! Explore a beautiful collection of over 500,000 lights as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. You can also roast marshmallows, shop for unique artisanal gifts, and participate in family activities on select nights. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the joy of the season.
Everyone loves a parade! This year, you can enjoy the parade from the safety of your car in the Winter Wonderlot at the Salem Civic Center. Floats and performers will be positioned so that you can drive through the parade and enjoy this merry tradition without leaving their vehicles. Grab some hot cocoa, put some holiday music on the radio, and enjoy this delightful tradition in a whole new way!
Interact with Santa safely this year at Santa’s Winter Wonderland. This free event provides a drive-through experience that allows kids to listen to Santa AND speak with him through FM radio. See beautiful light displays in the Elf Village as you listen to your kids tell Santa what they REALLY want for Christmas.
Start baking your gingerbread and creating your “floor plan” for your entry in the Gingerbread Festival this year! This family-friendly event includes holiday vendors, s’mores treats, gingerbread cookie decorating, and so much more!
